Product Description
No matter what your gaming experience Nintendo has just the game for you to play with your friends and family. Wii Play consists of a selection of nine very different mini-games on one game, which are designed to help you master the unique Wii Remote, whilst also providing hours of entertainment. To ensure you can enjoy Wii Play with your friends, the game comes bundled with a free Wii Remote. Wii Play consists of a variety of quirky games that can be played either alone or with a friend. This includes Shooting Range, which is the first game unlocked and is reminiscent of the classic Duck Hunt (released on the NES). In order to unlock the next game the player simply needs to complete the previous one (this sequence continues throughout). When all of the games have been unlocked players can start earning medals for their performance. Find Mii involves picking the right face out of a crowd in an environment that constantly changes - its a race against the clock and each other! Pose Mii requires players to make their Mii characters fit into the shapes in the Wii bubbles. To do this they must swing the remote to the right angle to make it fit inside. The psychedelic colours and quirky graphics involved in this puzzle make it instantly addictive. Other games included are Charge, where players have to hold onto a rampaging bull and try not to fall off! Players steer their bull and make it jump by moving the Wii Remote in the right direction, attempting to knock over scarecrows on the way. Tanks, which also makes use of the Nunchuk controller, tests a players strategic skills encouraging them to leave trails of mines for other tanks to stumble across. Wii Play also features faithful recreations of real sport games demanding precision and skill with the Wii Remote. In Table Tennis players hold the Wii Remote like a bat and use it to move their on-screen characters hand and return balls. In Fishing players cast their line with similar moves as

Good for new owners
Some of the reviews this product has got have been unfair, this 'Game' if to help you learn to use the controller, by using games which require different movements.
And yes, it comes with a controller which is a great bonus and the main reason I bought it.
I'm already getting bored of the games it contains, but as a new owner of the Nintendo Wii, I found it helped an awful lot to get used to the system and the controller, particuarly for the sensitivity of the pointer, which at first I couldn't get used to at first.
A couple of games are just too boring, but a couple are very addicting and a couple are difficult enough to make you determined to keep playing until you beat it. 2009-01-03
Great Game!!!!!
I think that this is a great game. You can do 2 player and play with everyone in your family. There are a variety of different games including shooting, table tennis, air hockey and fishing. I think anyone would enjoy it! 2009-01-03
Oh Dear
Wii play is very disappointing, you'd think it was totally awesome, but really it isn't very good at all. The mini games are very basic, they are just copied from other games made on other platforms and they are all to easy and very childish and as I am 11, it doesn't satisfy me. 2009-01-01
This game weared visibly...
This product in my view was inapropriet for my age group, however great value to the extreme! My "Mom" purchased this item for my wii, which I had during Christmas period. For the money it seemed a great deal (as it came with a free remote) But initially I think your basicly paying for the remote, not the Game! It's an excellent game for young ages, and people whom need guidence, there is a hint of fun within the game, but i warn you not to buy this game as a single. BUY IT WITH THE REMOTE! As the remote costs the same price. 2008-12-26
Great
If you need another wii remote you should definitely get this product, it comes with a brand new remote and around 9 mini games, and its cheaper than buying a new remote on its own. I didn't think much of the games but i am 21 a child would like them more. 2008-12-19
