Reviews
This book beats them all.
Very good and spot on revision/preparation material for the UKCAT. Be prepared to be challenged, but also be prepared to learn a lot. This book teaches you lots of techniques that you can use to save time at the exam in all the subtests, so, since time will be your biggest nightmare on the day, it is an extremely valuable tool. Lots of practice questions at all levels of difficulties. The verbal reasoning section is particularly good. 2010-03-10
Loved this book. Guaranteed to increase your score substantially!
This is the only preparation book that I have found useful. The others are either full of errors or don't contain many questions. This one contains a wide array of questions, and lots of good explanations in the answers section. 2010-03-08
Hundreds of pages of exercises and explanations. Definitly the best UKCAT resource.
This book was recommended to me by no less than 3 career advisers who all thought it was the best book to practise with. All sections are absolutely perfect and well calibrated and you really cannot fault the quality of the explanations given, which is way above the quality that other books provide. Frankly speaking, this is the only book that doesn't dumm down the exam and treats the reader as mature. This book is bang on, and addresses everything you need to prepare for the UKCAT. Buy it, it will really help you loads! 2010-03-07
Very good practice book. Guaranteed to improve your score.
Having failed to get into medicine last year because of a low UKCAT score, I used this book to practise and got an average score which is 150 points more and I am now getting into Birmingham's medical school this year! This book is absolutely brilliant. It looks at all the aspects of the UKCAT thoroughly and has loads of questions. It particularly helped me with verbal reasoning and abstract reasoning by giving me a structured way of approaching those questions. 2010-03-07
Don't hesitate. You won't find a better book than this one!
An excellent book for anyone who wants to do some brain gymnastics as preparation for the UKCAT. This book covers all four main tests with loads and loads of questions and explanations in the answers. Undoubtdedly the most complete revision book around. 2010-03-06
