The Host

Well what can I say I loved the Twilight saga's, and had to find out what else Stephanie Meyer had wrote. I was not disappointed. I did read reviews first and a lot said it was hard to get into, so I was expecting that too, but no it blew me away from start to finish. I just couldn't put the book down.

Wanda, and Melanie living in the same body, and coming to terms with each other, was so well written, just as you try to second guess what might come next, you didn't as the author took you in a completely different direction. All the characters had a such a major part that you could almost feel the dust on your face, and breathe in the smell from the caves.

Can't wait to see what else Stephanie writes next. I am a fan.

Great read, couldn't put it down

Whilst a slow burner to start about a third of the way in I couldn't put it down. Great story, characters deep and their conflicting feelings are well dealt with. The plot is excellent, a break from vampires but a similar theme in the end. A good 'yarn' overall. My only criticism is the danger of writing books to be made into films after a while can result in predictable happy ending books.

The book is great, Amazon's choice of shipping is NOT

I paid xtra to get four of these by a certain date, but Amazon uses the lamest carrier in the UK (HDNL)that not only tried to deliver to the wrong address (to neighbors who are on holiday), but now tell me they won't deliver until tomorrow since it's their "policy to have the package set out the day before the delivery". It's not MY mistake they can't read! I will get these 5 days after I needed to have them by.Unacceptable. Beware-- if you have a choice to purchase from Amazon or another seller, go with the other seller!

This book was brilliant. We read it because we enjoyed the twilight series, but we all thought this was better. Can't wait to see what she writes next!!! Highly recommended read.
