This book talks a lot about posture and how it can affect your back. Posture suggestions follow. The exercises recommended for most cases of back pain involve a person bending their spine backwards. These are done in the standing and on-your-stomach positions.
One thing I did notice about this back pain book is that it contains no exercises to strengthen your back- which I think is strange...
I'm 58 and up until 5 years ago I'd smoked heavily since my early teens. When my daughter said to me "Dad, please stop smoking, I'd like you to meet your grandchildren one day"!, I decided to give this book a try.
I started reading it, and to my delight Allen Carr said I shouldn't stop smoking until I finished the book - that meant I could read it really slowly and carry on smoking for...
I havent had time for a thorough gym work out for quite some time for various reasons but I decided to make myself a deal and start thinking that I owed myself time to work out. With that in mind this book seemed perfect - the way it caters for the time you have is really interesting. I started off with 45 mins/3 days a week and have just decided to add another day in. Looking at the way he structures...
Molecules of Emotion is a book that will forever change the way you think about science. Although the first two chapters are fairly technical the rest of the book is extremely readable. Lots of information about how our minds and bodies are linked and the sceince behind it. Truly a great read for anyone interested in emotional wellbeing.
I fully agree about the quality of this book's content. It is also a quality paperback and therefore quite heavy: don't buy it from the sort of seller who uses flimsy jiffy bags if you like your books in good condition!
This is an excellent book; very well written for either the layman or the more scientific-minded folk. It is key to explaining thyroid disorders and most importantly as other reviews have mentioned, it covers that key 'adrenal' connection.
Having recently been given results for 'low thyroid' I will be arming myself with the information in this book while I try and determine the diagnosis...
The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome is a must to strengthen your strategies as well as your knowledge on any kinds of specific symptoms on Asperger Syndrome. Also, Dr. Attwood explains other related and/or complicated syndromes. Although this book has so many pages, it is quite easy to read and includes no complicated structure. It is reader-friendly, if you ask me! If you find it quite tough...

As a success consultant I'm often having to guide my clients in the affect toxins have on general stress to the body and health. It's often hard to replace what people are used to because of the "hassle factor" of living busy lives.
I now point people in the direction of the recipes in this book, there aren't that many in the book, but by using these as templates there is a lot of flexibility...
