This is the first (and so far the only) Jamie book that I have, and I am extremely happy with it. I ordered it just before Xmas and I've tried some 4 recipes so far: they were all a success!
I am not a beginner cook nor a very experienced one and I found it great. I do think however that if someone has never kept a knife in their hands, this is a slight step too far, but I found it excellent...

One of the reasons for the great success of the television series Indian Food Made Easy is Anjum Anand’s clear and straightforward presentation, rendering these recipes manageable (or least convincing us that they are within our own particular range). There is also a commendable avoidance of gimmicks -- particularly welcome in an era when TV chefs feel obliged to adopt unusual or eccentric...
Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a perennial favourite with children and adults alike. Its imaginative illustration and clever cut-out detail charts the progress of a very hungry caterpillar as he eats his way through the week.

This book will help you eat well and save money. The recipes are basic in terms of technique but never bland and boring.
