Certainly this is an excellent book and I would strongly recommend it to anybody preparing for the DRCOG. Ideal for anybody with a special interest in Obs&Gynae. Well written, informative and user-friendly. My rate would be four and a half stars... To get the other half star in a next edition, the authors may consider reviewing the OSCE on Toxic Shock Syndrome, to be slightly less "picky" sometimes,...
This is in general a good book, although, for a Third Edition, I find it slightly "small for dates" (probably asymmetrical IUGR, because some chapters are excellent). The chapter on HRT, for instance, is disappointing (the spelling of "Tibolone" is wrong twice in the same page!). The chapter on Fertility is excellent. Certainly an asymmetrical underweight book. Hopefully the Fourth Edition will improve...
