KS3 Mathematics Revision Guide: Levels 5-8 (Revision Guides)
KS3 Mathematics Revision Guide: Levels 5-8 (Revision Guides)
Richard Parsons

I purchased this book roughly 6-7 weeks before the actual mathematics exam, thinking that it was too late to revise the majority of the year 9 curriculm. But I found it simple, fun and easy to understand because of its unique teaching methods. For instance it had useful pictures, strange jokes and questions at the end of each chapter to test your knowledge. All of which proved to be extremely helpful,...

How to Develop a Brilliant Memory Week by Week: 52 Proven Ways to Enhance Your Memory Skills
Dominic O'Brien

Sponge Bob Square Pants.

I have a few of Dominic O'Brien.s books and they are all good. I picked this one up at the airport before I was going on holiday. It was cheap and there is as much information as you will need in a lifetime about how to improve your memory.

I keep promising myself that I will do one a week I keep it in my car so that when I have to stop at...

  York Notes on
York Notes on "Romeo and Juliet"
John Polley

This book is an excellent introduction to what can be a dense and complex play. It starts with a simple plot outline. It then progresses to more in depth analysis of the play scene by scene. After which it lays out some key themes, symbols and ideas in the play in the forms of mini essays. It has a fairly good glossary, a potted history of Shakespeare himself and how his plays would have appeared....

GCSE English: Revision Guide (for GCSE English and GCSE English Literature) (CGP)
GCSE English: Revision Guide (for GCSE English and GCSE English Literature) (CGP)
Richard Parsons

This book is quite light-hearted, and as another review says, probably contains everything you need to pass- get a C grade. It doesn't, however, contain the information i would personally say you need for the A*-B Therefore is better for foundation. I have now bought the York Notes revision book, which is much better for higher grades!!!
